A Communal Effort to Stay Safe

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, LA Futbolistas are committed to staying up-to-date on the most recent public health recommendations. At times, this has meant suspending play during surges in cases and hospitalizations. See below for relevant links and information about how we plan to continue play as safely as possible.

RSVP to Sundays

In order to make sure that all players are familiar with our latest protocols, and to help with contact tracing in the event of a COVID exposure in our community, we ask everyone to fill out the RSVP form below before every Sunday that they plan to play.

Vaccination Requirement

Anyone participating in our Sunday community game is required to be fully vaccinated (two vaccine doses plus booster or one Johnson & Johnson shot plus booster).

Masks

Bring a mask, just so you have it, but as of fall 2022 we are playing without masks.

This may be subject to change depending on future cases/hospitalizations. Previously, we arrived with the assumption that we were playing with masks on, but would take a vote – if everyone present unanimously agrees that they are comfortable without masks, we would play without them.

Report a COVID case

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and were recently at LA Futbolistas, please fill out this form so that we can advise other community members who were there about the potential exposure. Filling out this form will send this information to a moderator, who will keep your identity anonymous when reporting the exposure.

Safety Protocols

Watch the video below to learn more about our safety protocols. This was originally created June 8, 2021, so please note that some protocols, especially vaccine requirements, have changed.
